Gaunts of Wollaston, our Stourbridge Funeral Home is under the personal attention of The Gaunt Family. Who has over 125 years of experience in Funeral Directing, currently in the 6th Generation.
The day to day running of our Wollaston branch is overseen by our Funeral Director, Mr Jack Malpass who works closely with Jake Gaunt to ensure that each and every Funeral we are entrusted with is undertaken with the utmost respect, care and compassion. Jake joined The Family Business upon leaving school joining his Grandad, Mom and Brother at our Head Office in Blackheath before branching out to serve Stourbridge, Wollaston and the surround areas in 2018. Chris joined the business in 2016, again starting at Head Office before moving over to Wollaston in 2021 . We pride ourselves on our attention to detail and making sure every funeral is carried out to the highest standard.

The funeral director can give you a full list of what they can supply. They are likely to charge for these additional products and services, so you may choose to take care of some arrangements without their involvement, or you can use a different supplier.
1. This fee (which is sometimes called the interment fee) is the charge made for digging and closing a new grave, or for reopening and closing an existing grave.
2. In England, Wales and Northern Ireland, you will usually need to pay doctors’ fees as well. This is the charge for two doctors to sign the Medical Certificates for Cremation.
